A Liverpool Secondary School Grade Eight learner, Mohammed Idrees Ebrahim, attained first place in the Gauteng Mathematics Olympiad. Representing Ekurhuleni North District, the learner was awarded a tablet, two medals, trophy, bag and mathematics kit at the prize-giving held at Laerskool Haakdoorn, in Pretoria, on September 16. The learner also took first position in the Ekurhuleni North district mathematics Olympiad in the first round before advancing to the provincial leg of the competition. T
