Experience Joy to Joburg with Johannesburg Queer Chorus

The Johannesburg Queer Chorus is a choir for greater Johannesburg’s LGBTQIA+ community and their friends.

The Johannesburg Queer Chorus (JQC) will lift spirits with its highly anticipated Joy to Joburg at the UJ Arts Centre in Johannesburg on December 6.

Known for their harmonies and vibrant performances, the JQC promises an unforgettable celebration of music, identity and togetherness.

The concert will capture the shift from the everyday hustle to the radiant energy of the festive season, offering audiences a chance to experience heartwarming moments and exhilarating choral performances.

More than just a concert, Joy to Joburg is a celebration of community, rhythm and the joy of singing one’s truth.

Performances: Matinee at 15:00, doors open at 14:30, evening show at 19:00, with doors open at 18:30.

The JQC invites everyone to feel the spirit of December as their voices fill the UJ Arts Centre with energy, harmony and celebration.
