City wishes residents a happy Easter weekend
Ekurhuleni Mayor Nkosindiphile Xhakaza encouraged residents to enjoy the long weekend safely and in good spirits.
“As you take a short break from your busy schedules, I wish you safe travels and hope that you return home refreshed and ready to continue your daily pursuits.
Whether you observe Easter as part of the Christian faith or simply use this time to pause and reflect, it’s an opportunity to take stock of the year and plan for the months ahead,” said Xhakaza.
“The little moments we steal from our hectic routines are precious. They allow us to reflect, recharge, and move forward with clarity and purpose.”
The mayor also urged those in prayer to remember the prosperity of the City of Peace, Ekurhuleni, and extended his best wishes to all residents of Gauteng and South Africa for a peaceful and rejuvenating Easter break.
