NOTIFICATION OF APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF ATMOSPHERIC EMISSION LICENCE FOR WEIR MINERALS ISANDO (PTY) LTD, ISANDO Notice is hereby given, in terms of Section 38(3) in the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act (Act No. 39 of 2004, as amended) (NEM:AQA), to all interested and affected parties (I&APs), that Weir Minerals Isando (Pty) Ltd is applying for an Atmospheric Emission Licence (AEL) renewal for its operations at 31 Isando Road, Isando, 1600.
In terms of Section 22 of NEM:AQA, an Atmospheric Emission Licence, or a Provisional Atmospheric Emissions Licence, is required to conduct an activity listed in terms of Section 21. The facility currently holds an Atmospheric Emissions Licence (14/1/1/7/4/78/ weir minerals/KEMP) for the following listed activities: *`Subcategory 4.9: Ferro-Alloy Production`, `Subcategory 4.10: Foundries Production` and `Category 6: Organic Chemicals Industry`.
