Winter baseball season underway
Benoni Northerns Indians Ball Club played their first matches at home and their second of the new Gauteng Baseball Provincial Council’s 2017 winter league season on Sunday, May 28.
The club’s Sioux team took on Bantams, from Edenvale, in the day’s first match and convincingly won 29-1. The club’s Wichita team enjoyed a hard fought 8-6 win over Mustangs, from Marks Park, in the afternoon.
