South Africa A vs India A match moved from Benoni to Tuks

The first four-day game between South Africa A and India A which was scheduled to be held at Sahara Park Willowmoore from tomorrow (August 12) to August 15 will now take place at the Assupol Tuks Oval at the University of Pretoria.

This is a result of logistical issues encountered due to upgrades taking place at the Benoni venue in preparation for the T20 Global League in November.

Cassim Suliman, CEO of the Eastern Cricket Union, said: “The outfield is not playable due to the upgrades and due to to under surface drainage where the lines did not knit together.”

“Due to winter conditions the knitting of the grass did not occur because of the cold temperatures both in the morning and evening.”
