Actonville win last game by a single wicket
They end the campaign in a respectable fifth place.

Actonville Spurs Cricket Club’s (ASCC) Eastern Premier League One XI ended their 2018 campaign in a respectable fifth position after winning a closely run affair against CBC Old Boys in Boksburg on March 24.
Skipper Mekyle Pillay lost the morning coin toss and was put into bowl by his opposite number Casey Arnold.
Besides the best efforts of CBC batsman Dylan Bennie (62 runs from 139 balls) the hosts could only muster 138 runs before they were bowled out for 138 runs in 49.1 overs.
The skipper Pillay was the star performer with the ball for Actonville, bagging figures of 4/23 in 10 overs while Devon Botha (2/17 in seven overs) was the next best performer.
Fano Zwano, Wilber van Dyk and Xolile Nkomo each picked up a wicket for ASCC.
It was a slow and steady reply with the bat from the Actonville batsmen.
It seemed to be the captain’s day as Pillay notched up a half-century with the bat (scoring an important 51 runs from 91 balls).
When nine wickets had fallen there was a huge threat of defeat with one wicket left to get for CBC to win.
Number 10 batsmen Farhaad Umarjee and number 11 Xolile Nkomo (eight not out) survived the final stand to see Actonville over the line.
