High-flying Harriers shine at national events

These Harriers members are on the right track.

Members of Benoni Harriers Athletic Club’s (BHAC) top junior team raised their club’s banner high by competing at Athletics South Africa’s (ASA) Senior Track and Field Championship and Combined Events Championship at Pilditch Stadium recently.

 

Benoni Harriers Athletic Club’s Innocent Mayaleni (800m), Diana Sithole (800m) and Evans Malepe (10km) got their South African colours for athletics after great performances at the Athletics South Africa’s (ASA) Senior Track and Field Championship and Combined Events Championship at Pilditch Stadium recently. The trio headed to Paarl recently to take part in the 2018 ASA u-18 (Youth) and u-20 (Junior) Track and Field Championships, which also serves an Olympic qualifier. The trio do most of their training at Benoni Country Club.
