Early season silverware for Benoni Northerns Cricket Club

The Benoni Northerns Cricket Club Premier XI took a young team to the Titans Franchise Club Championships in Polokwane and won the tournament on August 26.

The Benoni boys defeated Seshego Cricket Club in the final to win their first piece of silverware of the season.

The oldest player in the team was 25 years old.

Coach Nicolaos Moragemos is delighted by their performance ahead of the Eastern Cricket Union’s new season.
