Sri Lanka to play Invitation XI at Willowmoore Park on February 28
The Sri Lankans will play in Benoni next week.
Sri Lanka will play a Cricket South Africa (CSA) Invitation XI in a one-day tour match at Benoni’s Willowmoore Park on February 28.
The islanders will use the match as a warm-up ahead of their five-match One Day International (ODI) series against the Proteas from March 3.
Local cricketers could see the likes of Sri Lankan skipper Lasith ‘Slinger’ Malinga in action.
KwaZulu-Natal Coastal’s Marques Ackerman will lead the Invitation XI in the match.
Entrance to the ground is free and the match starts at 10am.
