Fellowship at the Lake Club between Nomads and juniors

It was a great display of golfing camaraderie.

The Nomads Fellowship Day was once again hosted at the Lake Club Benoni recently in conjunction with the Ekurhuleni Golf Union (EGU).

Stephen Malherbe, junior vice-captain of Eastern Nomads, confirmed that the tournament has been in existence for 26 years and has become a sought-after event on the EGU Junior Golf calendar.

“We were delighted to work closely with Ekurhuleni Junior Golf on this annual event and are delighted with the successful outcome,” he said.

The tournament was played as a four-ball alliance with two scores to count and each team was made up of three EGU juniors, one from each of the respective divisions and hosted by a Nomads representative.

The winners of the 2019 Nomads shields for the best gross scores in each division on the day were handed over by Jimmy Sales from Nomads.
