The United Martial Arts International (UMAI) Benoni Club participated in the Full Contact Martial Arts Association’s (FCMA) Gauteng Provincial Championship, held at the Kempton Park Indoor Sports Complex recently.

All 11 UMAI Benoni athletes won their respective categories and will now participate at the FCMA National Championships on June 12, 13 and 14.

These 11 athletes won a total of 32 gold medals.

Coach and chief instructor shihan Aslam Mahomed said, “The athletes’ time and effort that they have put into their training regiments have definitely paid off and I could not be more proud of them all.”
