Laser Masters a success for Benoni Sailing club

The Benoni Sailing Club hosted the 2020 Laser Masters Regatta on October 31 and November 1.

The Laser is an Olympic class sailing dinghy that is usually sailed by men and women.

Even with the strong wind on the Saturday and even stronger winds on the Sunday, with over 20 knots, there were approximately 17 entries from sailing clubs around the area.

The final results from sailing nine races are:

First place: Oscar de Weija.

Second place: Grant Caroline.
