The Sail Benoni Club hosted the Cutts Trophy Challenge on October 17 at Homestead Dam.
“About 12 boats and 16 sailors took part,” said Dudley Thomson, promoter of the club.
“There were three races on the day and we had some light and changing wind in the first two races. The wind picked up a little on the third race.”
The results for the three races are as follows:
• Race 1: 1 Dudley Thomson, 2 Mike Tainton and 3 Peter Clayton
• Race 2: 1 Peter Clayton, 2 Mike Tainton and 3 Dudley Thomson
• Race 3: 1 Mike Tainton, 2 Dudley Thomson and 3 Ian Campbell
