Four of the Aintree South Africa riders competed at Nationals on October 9

Four of the Aintree South Africa riders competed at Nationals on October 9 at Kyalami Equestrian Park against riders from Mpumulanga, Western Cape, Northern Cape, North West, Free State, Limpopo and Kwa-Zulu Natal provinces.

“The girls did us proud against fierce competition, ending the SANESA 2021 season with a bang. Thank you so much for your hard work and determination riders,” said instructor, Louise Kennedy.

The individual results were as follows:

• Logan Landsberg (16) of Sion Private Academy, competed in one 70cm show jumping class and placed 22nd.

• Keira-Leigh Wissing-Dollman (16) of Hoërskool Hans Moore, competed in two 70cm showjumping classes placing 12th and 22nd.

• Cara Jackson (17) of Benoni High School, competed in two 90cm showjumping classes and placed third and 22nd.

• Eryn Preston (15) of Jeppe High School for Girls, competed in one 90cm show jumping class and placed 10th.

The team results (riders from across Gauteng – four riders per team) were as follows:

• Logan Landsberg of the Gauteng C team placed fourth with her fellow teammates.

• Keira-Leigh Wissing-Dollman of Gauteng A team for both her classes placed first with her fellow teammates.

• Cara Jackson of Gauteng A team for both her classes placed first and sixth with her fellow teammates.

• Eryn Preston of the Gauteng C team placed fourth with her fellow teammates.
