A windy day for sailors

Benoni Sailing Club held its annual Laser Masters Gauteng Region Sailing Regatta on November 13 and 14.

Twenty-seven competitors,ranging between the ages of 35 to 80, from five different clubs took part.

“The wind was good, with 20 races sailed over the two days,” said Dudley Thomson, promoter of Benoni Sail Club.

“It was a very competitive fleet of sailors, and overall just a fantastic day.”
