Spurs and Achievers celebrate 18 years of friendship

The Spurs returned to action recently and the premier side and reserves beat Avion Cricket Club by four runs.

The Achievers Sport Management company celebrated its 18-year friendship with the Actonville Spurs Cricket Club by handing over playing and training equipment for the club’s junior teams.

The company was formed in 1998 to “organise sports events on a national and international level so that its members, players and athletes get enough exposure to compete on any major event”.

Zunaid Seedat, PRO of the Spurs, said this equipment will help improve how the players train.

“This equipment will definitely help us improve how we organise our training sessions and also assist in the young players’ overall development.”

The donation was handed over to the club by the company’s director Mohammad Tahir Ansari – cementing their 18 years of partnership.
