Green 11, Ama Ten 10 and Piemonte Calcio were the winners of the night of the stars football tournament held at Astroplex on February 25.
The three teams claimed top honours by beating 15 others in the round robin phase to finish top of their groups.
Organiser Abdul Sibda was happy with the outcome of the event.
“The event was well supported by teams and spectators from all over Ekurhuleni. The excellent organisation and atmosphere contributed to a great day for all participants and attendees,” said Sibda.
He added that because of the success of this event, it will now take place on the last Saturday of every month.
“The format will change and it will include knockout rounds and a final to determine the winner.”
