Athletes to raise BAC flag at nationals

Seven athletes from the club have been selected to represent Central Gauteng Athletics.

The Boksburg Athletics Club (BAC) will be well represented at this year’s Athletics South Africa (ASA) junior championship held in Potchefstroom, from March 30 to April 2.

Seven athletes from the club will form part of the Central Gauteng Athletics (CGA) cohort to represent the province at the showpiece.

Kiera Fouche, Cessandra Raath, Ané Carli Bornman, Nicole Alberts, Suné Greef, Courtney Heymans and Carla Venter will all compete in different disciplines, in an attempt to bring home a medal.

The BAC’s Caronn Harris wished the athletes well and thanked them for always raising the BAC flag.

Clarissa le Roux will represent Hoërskool Dr EG Jansen Athletics Club.
