Learner earns provincial call-up

Kay-Cee Blackburn from Hoërskool Hans Moore has been selected to be part of the Gauteng Schools Netball team to represent the province at the 2022 Telkom Junior Netball Championship from July 10-15.

The Grade 11 learner will form part of the province’s u-17 squad.

The school told the paper that it was proud of Kay-Cee’s achievement.

Notable selectees from other Benoni schools

Kearabetsoe Kau from Benoni High will also don the provincial colours for the u-16 team while Zinhle Khumalo from Rynfield Primary will turn-out for the province’s u-13 squad. They will both take part in the All Ages tournament at Hoërskool Dr EG Jansen and Laerskool Concordia from June 26-29.
