Johnson Crane Marathon to take place in January

The 40th edition of the Johnson Crane Hire Marathon will take place on January 29 at Willowmoore Park.

According to race organiser Ashvin Jivan, the event will start at 05:30 with the marathon.

Runners will choose to either take part in the 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km or 5km.

Kemang Khunonyana and Cornelia Joubert won the men’s women’s marathon earlier this year. Lucky Mohale and Daniella Morrison-Jones won the half-marathon.

The race was chosen earlier this year by the Central Gauteng Athletics (CGA) as one of its ASA national marathon championship qualifiers.
