Crystal Park Primary to contest in chess provincials
“We are the only primary school in the competition."
The Crystal Park Primary School will compete in the Gauteng Chess Championship finals at John Barrable from May 27.
The school won the Ekurhuleni North District finals at Edenglen High School on May 12.
“The school has six learners who have qualified for the provincials and we are the only primary school in the competition.
“It’s the first time our school has reached this milestone. We thank the coaches for their hard work and dedication in chess over the two years when we started,” said Coach Aubrey Bobe.
