The chief instructor of the Dan Triangle Karate Club was recently conferred his seventh black belt following years of dedication and commitment to the sport. Chris Anthony received his certificate from Japan, signed by the Karatenomichi World Federation (KWF) founder Yahara Mikio, and handed to him by the KWF South Africa chief instructor, shihan Malcolm Dorfman (ninth dan), during the KWF national championship on June 3.
