Together with Brentwood Pick n Pay we are giving Benoni brides the chance to win a shopping voucher valued at R1 000.

Entries can be made by emailing a photograph of the bride to tanyab@caxton.co.za, with the subject “Bride of the Year”.

·         The picture must be a jpeg attachment of no less than 500KB (or bigger than 4MG) and the following details must be submitted along with the photograph:

·         The bride’s name and maiden name

·         The groom’s name and surname

·         Date and venue of wedding

·         Current residential address and the bride’s contact details.

The monthly winner will have to provide proof of her wedding date (marriage certificate).

Once the October campaign has commenced, readers will vote for their favourite bride.

SMS votes will count 30 per cent and the other 70 per cent will be made up by a panel of judges

Each month’s winner will go through as a contestant for the Bride of the Year competition.

The overall winner will receive a local or overseas trip for her and her husband, to the value of R25 000.

The runner-up will win R10 000.

The closing date for October brides to enter is December 20, at 5pm.
