Editor's note

Sundays will never be the same again

As one unwinds and prepares for the week ahead on a Sunday afternoon.

Nothing is as soothing as listening to Metro FM between 3pm till 6pm.

However, Sundays will never be the same again, as a giant has fallen.

Eddie Makhosonke Zondi, a lover of RnB and soul ballads has died.

He has left emptiness in people’s hearts, as he touched so many souls with his show and music.

He was one of a kind who helped many mend their broken relationships, and find new love.

Personally studying was a breeze for me as I recall studying for my tertiary finals listening to the wonderful playlist he provided.

Sundays will truly never be the same again.

As we recall the wonderful music he provided us with, all we say is thank you.

We salute you Zondi and may the heavens welcome you with open loving arms.

You were our hero and Sunday lunch will never be the same again.

Go well fellow compatriot you will never be forgotten.

HAMBA KAHLE MAKHOSONKE! KP
