Fallen leaves
For most people, summer is the best time of the year, but the other seasons are often overlooked.

It’s May and already we can feel the mornings and evenings becoming colder, every week.
This is Autumn, and it is probably the most underrated season of the year.
For me, there is something magical about the colder months, although winter and autumn each enchant in their own way.
Autumn is a season which doesn’t quite know where it fits in when it comes to weather.
The afternoons are marked by the same sun as summer, though less dehydrating, and the nights are perfect for hot drinks and huddling up under blankets.
The characteristic which truly defines autumn is not the weather as such, but rather the beauty.
Just like Spring, Autumn is recognisable mainly for the unique visual style with which nature brushes the trees and streets.
Red, yellow, brown, orange and green “pixels” fall to the ground every day, or catch the sunlight before their descent.
Benoni is one town where autumn can truly be enjoyed and marveled at in its full glory.
Take one evening or morning just to drive down Great North Road, between the Kei Road and Mercury Road intersections.
The trees down this magic road form a canopy over the street and, during this time of the year, the ground is covered in the gorgeous multi-colour leaves, which make for a life-affirming view when the sunshine catches your eye through the trees.
Hate the cold, hate the heat, hate the inconsistency of autumn, but you can’t tell me those colours don’t make you excited about the world again.
