Another Spirit of Praise show has been scheduled

Fans of the evergreen annual gospel showcase by Benjamin Dube and an ensemble of South Africa’s foremost gospel performers should move swiftly to purchase their tickets to the show.

Spirit of Praise 7’s performance on July 7 is sold out. But who said a praise party cannot last a whole weekend?

Buoyed by overwhelming public demand, a second show has been added for Spirit of Praise 7 at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena on July 8.

Spirit of Praise 7 breathes new life into this season with electric performances and energetic harmonies.

The all-star line-up features Benjamin Dube, Neyi, Omega, Dube Brothers, Women in Praise, Tshepang Mphuthi, Dumi Mkokstad, as well as seven surprise guest artists.

Gospel music enthusiasts can look forward to an evening of grand gospel entertainment and intimate worship with one of South Africa’s foremost music ministerial visionaries.

The founder of High Praise Centre in Boksburg, Dube recorded his first single, Holy Spirit, in 1986.

It was a cross-over hit song and chartbuster on local radio stations and sold over 25 000 units in the year of its release in RSA.

Loved by audiences of every age and background, Spirit of Praise’s previous offering includes volumes one to six which reached both Gold and Platinum status, as well as scooped two Sama’s and seven Gospel Crown Awards.

Tickets for the show, which starts at 5pm, are priced from R250 per person at Computicket.
