Our online readers have determined the top five entries in the City Times Moms & Daughters/Dads & Sons Photo Competition.
Four independent judges will today decide who the overall winner and our second and third place winners are.
The finalists are joining the City Times for an informal function at The Secret Garden tomorrow, where the final results will be announced and the prizes handed out.
The top five entries (in no particular order):
• From Farrarmere – Hayley-Michelle Reitsma with daughters Cassidy-Skyla (17), Brookelyn-Rogue (16) and Dakota-Jade (10).
• From Rynfield – Ridwaan Suleman, who sent in a photo of his wife, Jolene, and daughter, Tasmia (18).
• From Western Extension – Kershia Naidoo (28) with her mom, Mariamah Naidoo, and sister, Lavisha (24).
• From Goedeburg – Natalie Herzer, who sent in a photo of her husband, Mario Saincic, and their son, Franco Herzer (two months old).
• From Crystal Park – Sylvia Ngobese with her daughter, Nolthando (24).
• An entry from Rob Smit, of Benoni AH, with his son, Malakai (10), did not make it into the top five, but has been named Editor’s Choice.
Prizes:
• The overall winner will walk off with a one-night stay for a family of four, including breakfast, at the three-star Peermont Metcourt Hotel at Emperors Palace, valued at R2 230, and a R1 116 dinner voucher for Rosetta’s buffet restaurant at Emperors Palace, inclusive of bottomless soda and wine.
• Two R500 Pick n Pay Oakfields vouchers.
