ABBA concert wows audience

Costumes to enhance the ’70s and early ’80s feel were also worn by the performers.

The ExtrABBAganza concert hosted by Noteworthy Events that took place at the Gereformeerde Kerk in Rynfield recently saw crowds of people descend on the venue for an unforgettable ABBA rendition experience performed by various artists.

Some of the greatest tracks that included Mamma Mia, Take A Chance on Me, Andante Andante, Dancing Queen and many more were performed by the Cantare Jubiloso Choir and other star performers that included actress and singer Loriska Bubb and George Meiring.

“This is a tribute to ABBA and giving the community an affordable experience to indulge in,” said co-owner of Noteworthy Events Lanie Coetzer.

“The concert will include soloists and a full 35-piece symphony orchestra with maestro Richard Cock at the helm.”
