Miss Teen Social Entrepreneur South Africa Finalist 2021

She hopes our youth, especially young women, stay encouraged and feel empowered to start their businesses and become successful.

Owami Govender from Benoni has been selected as a finalist of Miss Teen Social Entrepreneur South Africa 2021.

The 18-year-old, who is the founder and CEO of a private company, @theArcadeZA, aimed at growing South African SMMEs by empowering, supporting and educating them, believes entering this pageant would be the perfect fit.

“The Miss Teen Social Entrepreneur South Africa pageant isn’t your typical beauty pageant, but it is centred around building an ecosystem of future female entrepreneurs. It is focused on providing a platform where all young women can gain the confidence, knowledge, skills and tools to create their sustainable businesses while making a positive impact.”

She hopes our youth, especially young women, stay encouraged and feel empowered to start their businesses and become successful.

“I think there’s more than enough room for all of us to turn our dreams into reality by empowering one another and achieving our objectives.”
