Crow invites young nature enthusiasts for wildlife experience

Young nature enthusiasts can look forward to outdoor adventures and wildlife lessons at Crow's Wildlife Warrior Holiday Club.

Parents looking for an exciting and educational way to keep their children engaged during the upcoming school holidays are invited to enrol them in the Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) popular Wildlife Warrior Holiday Club, taking place from June 29 to July 3.

Hosted at the Education Centre in Yellowwood Park, the five-day programme offers children aged 8 to 15 years the opportunity to experience a unique blend of fun, adventure, and wildlife conservation education.

Denika Govender, Partnership Officer at CROW said, “Participants can look forward to a variety of activities, including interactive wildlife lessons, tortoise encounters, outdoor adventures, creative arts and crafts, team games and hands-on environmental learning experiences.’

“Children may attend individual days or participate in the full week-long programme. The cost is R150 per child per day, making it an affordable and enriching holiday activity for families,” added Govender.

As one of KwaZulu-Natal’s leading wildlife rehabilitation centres, CROW rescues, rehabilitates, and releases thousands of injured, orphaned, and displaced wild animals every year. Through initiatives such as the Wildlife Warrior Holiday Club, the organisation aims to foster environmental awareness and encourage the next generation of conservation champions.
