Charity golf day

Join St Augustine's past pupils as they tee off in support of the Denis Hurley Centre at Papwa Sewgolam Golf Course this Thursday.

THE past pupils of St Augustine’s School are organising a Golf Day today, Thursday, 8 August at the Papwa Sewgolam Golf Course at Clare Estate to raise funds for the new Denis Hurley Centre.

The St Augustine’s School was once accommodated in the old Parish Centre at Emmanuel Cathedral. The old building was demolished a short while ago, to make way for the new Denis Hurley Centre which will be built on the same site.

The Denis Hurley Centre is a legacy project in honour of Archbishop Denis Hurley who provided outstanding religious and social leadership in Durban for the 45 years that he was Bishop and Archbishop of this city.

In support of this project, participants, corporate and sponsors are welcome to join in the Golf Day.
