
THE sailing community are joining forces to raise money at the NSRI Barrel Finale fundraiser on Friday 16 August at the Royal Natal Yacht Club.
To mark the occasion, the yachting fraternity is hosting a Wine Tasting evening featuring eight moderately priced, fabulous quality wines. If you fancy yourself a wine connoisseur and would enjoy an evening out in the magnificent setting of the yacht club nestled in the Durban Marina, support this worthy cause.
A cheque from the previous fundraising initiatives, namely the NSRI Barrel Race Day and the NSRI Calendar that was produced specially for the sailors, will be handed over to the NSRI by the Commodores of the Durban yacht clubs, accepting the cheque will be Station Commander Clifford Ireland from Rescue 5.
Live entertainment for the evening will be provided by a sextet from the Durban City Orchestra and the wine tasting will be hosted by a wine expert who will open minds and palettes to the exquisite flavours of a few classic South African wines.
