Home receives welcome donation

SAVF Jeanette Smit Sentrum retirement home in Glenwood was the fortunate beneficiary of a donation from Nuggets ‘n Gems.

Nuggets ‘n Gems is a Glenwood based charity shop. “We accept absolutely all donations,” said owner of Nuggets ‘n Gems, Janet Offer. Items donated to the chairty shop are sold and the money rendered from these sales is donated to retirement homes and other worthy organisations. Items not sold are donated. “We do not throw anything away, all donations are put to good use,” said Offer.

Fundraiser and cook at SAVF Jeanette Smit Sentrum, Margaret Doble, expressed her appreciation and gratituide for the generous donation.
