Host a Cuppa
Do your bit to create awareness and raise funds for cancer by hosting a Cuppa for CANSA tea party.
GATHER your friends, family or colleagues together for an afternoon (or morning or evening) of fun, while helping to fight cancer by hosting a Cuppa for CANSA party.
You can serve any beverage you like – ice tea, coffee, smoothies, juice, hot chocolate – whatever takes your fancy. Be creative as you like with your Cuppa – invite a speaker or a cancer survivor if you like. You could also choose a theme and message you wish to share with your guests, which could be anything from a Birthday Cuppa to a Chocohlic Cuppa.
Organising a Cuppa for CANSA party is easy; register as a Cuppa host by contacting your local CANSA centre and indicate that you wish to host a Cuppa For CANSA. Next, collect or download materials and resources that you can use to help plan your party, these include a Cuppa poster, Cuppa Host’s notepad for your convenince and lists, a Cuppa competition entry form and a Cuppa leaflet.
After your Cuppa, hand over the donations that you have recived from your guests to Cuppa for CANSA either online or directly into Cuppa’s bank account.
Cuppa for CANSA would like to share ‘Cuppas That Inspire’ with others, so send your photos and a short blurb about your Cuppa to info@cansa.org.za and the most inspiring Cuppas will be posted on their website.
