Water polo festival
Glenwood's Water Polo Festival gave schools a great opportunity to practise ahead of upcoming tours.
A total of six schools took part in Glenwood’s water polo festival which gave participating teams some pre-tournament practice for upcoming tours.
Glenwood’s U14A team participated in the festival after the withdrawal of the DHS team.
The Glenwood U15A was the best team on the day. D Cronje and C Botha were the pick of the players; however the side played some brilliant structured water polo.
The U14A team shocked some of their older opponents with solid victories over Maritzburg College and Northwood and played well in other fixtures. G Stopford and S du Randt played magnificent water polo, scoring several goals.
