Doing their bit for cancer

The Sunfoil Dolphins have stripped down for a good cause.

THE Sunfoil Dolphins have put their name and healthy good looks behind the fight against cancer. “Cancer has touched the lives of some of our players so they were keen when their agency Y&R Durban, approached them with the concept of doing a 2014 Calendar,” said Jesse Chellan CEO.

Featuring 12 of the Sunfoil Dolphins players, these young and vigorous cricketers are pictured in “cheeky” pink underwear, the idea of which was conceptualized by Kyle Hodnett, a Dolphins Academy Player and Varsity Collage student. Bianca Warren, a local Durban designer offered her expertise in the production of the pink men’s underwear.

“The Sunfoil Dolphins players immediately bought into this concept for charity. The players were captured reflecting their interest outside of cricket. The Sunfoil Dolphins are without doubt the best looking team in domestic cricket. Ladies…get a copy, you be the judge,” said Chellan.

This CD calendar makes an ideal gift and will be available from 15 November. Go online to www.dolphinscricket.co.za – a portion of the proceeds will go to CHOC and their fight against childhood cancer.
