An evening in Russia

Enjoy an evening exploring all things Russian with the Botanical Society of South Africa.

THE KZN Coastal Branch of the Botanical Society of South Africa presents another popular Supper Theatre on Thursday 21 November at the Visitors’ Centre, Durban Botanic Gardens at 5.45 for 6pm.

There will be an interesting talk by Charles Botha and a sumptuous Russian Dinner.

Besides plants and birds, many other aspects are included, so the talk will also be of interest to non BotSoc members. As with his previous popular talks, Charles will show guests how the Russians live, what they do (good and bad), their food, religion and politics. Rural areas are visited, as well as a few of their main cities. And just for good measure, some of Russia’s amazing tourist sites will also be seen.

Attendance is strictly by reservation and payment with booking.

Tickets to the lavish buffet dinner with wine cost R190 per BotSoc/Friends of DBG members and R220 for non-members.

Tel 071 869 3693 or 031 201 5111 or email botsoc-kzn@mweb.co.za

All proceeds go the Botanical Education Trust – a good cause, so book a table with your friends.
