FRIENDS of Music presents Yura Lee and Tertia Visser-Downie in concert on Tuesday 12 November at the Jewish Centre, 44 Old Fort (K.E. Masinga) Road at 7.45pm . Violinist, Yura has won many prizes including the Unisa Strings International Competition in 2010. Tertia is an accomplished South African pianist. The programme will include Beethoven Sonata for Violin and Piano in D major Op.12 No 1, Brahms Sonata No.3 for Violin and Piano in D minor, Op.108, Kreisler – Praeludium and Allegro / Liebesleid / Liebesfreud and Tchaikovsky – Waltz-Scherzo.
There will be a prelude performance by Brett and Nina Alborough on clarinet and oboe.
