Alfred Ford will speak at two events in Durban this week.
AMERICAN, Alfred Ford, the great grandson of the legendry Henry Ford, founder of the Ford Motor Company, will be visiting South Africa presenting talks at various venues in Durban and Johannesburg.
He serves as Director of the Ford Motor Company Fund, Director of The Ford Family Office Group, USA and Director of The Mayapur Foundation, India. The event will take place at 8.30am on Thursday, 30 January at Coastlands, Umhlanga. The topic for discussion is Economic Ethics For A New World Of Business.
Due to the extensive amount of time people spend at work, much of that nurturing must take place in the business environment. For bookings, contact Sharmala Pillay on 031 335 1017 or pillays@durbanchamber.co.za
Mr Ford holds very deep spiritual values and is an initiated disciple of AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. He has undertaken to see the construction of the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium in Mayapur, West Bengal, India to fruition. This temple is anticipated to become one of the wonders of the world.
He will be presenting a talk and video presentation about this project at 4pm on Saturday, 1 February at the Kendra in Greyville. The event is open to all and admission is free. Supper will be served. This event is being hosted by the local Hare Krishna temple and the Kendra Business Forum.
