From Russia with love

Learn more about Russia and its people at the next BotSoc talk.

THE KZN Coastal Branch of BotSoc invites members and visitors to a repeat of the interesting talk by Charles Botha, entitled Russia Today, on Sunday afternoon 23 February at the Visitors Centre, Durban Botanic Gardens at 3pm.

Besides plants and birds, many other aspects are included, so the talk is also of interest to visitors as well as BotSoc members. As with his previous popular talks, Charles will show how the Russians live, what they do (good and bad), their food, religion and politics. Rural areas are visited, as well as a few main cities. And just for good measure, some of Russia’s amazing tourist sites will also be seen.

Entrance including refreshments is R35 for members of BotSoc and the Friends of Durban Botanic Gardens, R45 for visitors and R25 for students with cards. Pay at the door but book for catering purposes by calling 071 869 3693 or 031 201 5111 or email botsoc-kzn@mweb.co.za

All proceeds go to the Botanical Education Trust.
