Invite to open forum
A forum creates an opportunity for discussion around the topic of safety for all who live, work and play in Durban.
IMAGINE Durban invites the public to its open forum, My city, My safety and My responsibility, on 29 May at Botanical Gardens Visitors Centre at 5pm to 7pm.
The purpose of this open forum is to create an opportunity for discussion around the topic of safety for all who live, work and play in Durban, to nurture a culture of safety and responsibility in Durban citizens.Speakers will be Lyse Comins, manager of NaybaNet.co.za, who will speak on connecting communities, Corne Broodryk, chairman of the Kloof Community Policing Forum, Martin Xaba, head of Safer Cities and Itrump, eThekwini Municipality.
There will be three presentations followed by a facilitated panel discussion with representatives from eThekwini Municipality, Civil Society and the business sector, addressing safety challenges in the city.
