Soccer kits needed

Rising stars at the Durban Child and Youth Care Centre are in need of soccer kits.

SIXTEEN boys at the Durban Child and Youth Care Centre are in need of soccer kits.

According to Thina Hlophe, the boys have an opportunity to train with a well-known soccer team in Durban. The boys, aged between 12 to 18 years are thrilled to have been offered this opportunity to develop their unneutered skills and talent.

“As excited as we were to hear about this wonderful offer, the realities are that we simply do not have any available funds at our disposal to provide soccer kits for our young men. This is why we appeal to the greater community of Durban to assist us turn these 16 teenagers’ dreams into a reality. Through your donation of second hand usable soccer boots, skin pads, shorts, shirts or socks, we will be able to ensure that our boys don’t miss out on this chance,” she said.

Should you be able to assist with donating second hand soccer boots or kits, contact Thina on 031 201 1301 or email thina@dch.org.za
