Holiday fun for kids
Local kids are in for a fun holiday with the Children's Holiday Club at Musgrave Methodist Church hosting daily fun activity over the July holiday.

CHILDREN living on the Berea are in for a treat this winter holiday as Musgrave Methodist Church hosts a Children’s Holiday Club at the Church Hall from 30 June to 4 July.
Children from Grade R to Grade 7 are welcome to go along to an interactive, adventure-packed, fun morning holiday club over the July school holidays.
The club, which will run from 8am until noon daily will be aptly themed “Rio.”
Kids can expect games, projects, stories and arts and crafts, while learning about friendship, courage…. and blue birds.
To help preparations, the public can drop off empty cereal boxes, Skip liquid balls, toilet roll inners and empty coffee tins or beads, ribbons, buttons, feathers, glue, scissors, glitter, cardboard, kokis, crayons and insulation tape at the church office.
The cost of the holiday club is a R10 donation per day, which includes refreshments: A snack of sandwiches, biscuits, juice and fruit will be served each day.
The Musgrave Methodist Church Hall is at the corner of St Thomas and Musgrave Roads.
