Greyville parking sold out ahead of Durban July
Motorists are being advised to use the park and ride facility for Saturday's Vodacom Durban July.

IT’S going to be a bumper Vodacom Durban July on Saturday as punters, fashionistas and socialites from all over the country flock to Greyville Racecourse for what must be one of the major highlights on the Durban fun calendar of events.
Organisers have already warned motorists to plan their trip to Greyville beforehand as tickets for the parking areas at Greyville Racecourse are sold out.
Motorists are advised to use the park and ride facility from the old Durban Drive-in which will be in operation on Saturday from 8am until midnight.
Metro police will be out in force around the racecourse to direct traffic and motorists are warned to be aware of delays.
Last year delays were caused largely by a shortage of parking space around Greyville. This year’s field of 16 racehorses promises of all the excitement the Durban July is known for.
Apart from the magnificent animals, the fabulous fashion and many celebrities at the event there will also be fine entertainment from the South African Youth Orchestra and pipe and military bands who will perform on the day.
