Watch free screening of Mandela Long Walk to Freedom

Musgrave Ster Kinekor will host a free screening of Mandela Long Walk to Freedom on Friday 18 July and will host community organisations that the public can support as part of their 67 minutes.

MANDELA Long Walk to Freedom will have a free screening at Ster Kinekor Musgrave on Mandela Day, on Friday, 18 July.

The tickets will be available from 9am at Ster Kinekor Musgrave Centre. These tickets are available on a first come first serve basis. The actual movie will be screened at 9.45am.

After you have watched this movie and are feeling inspired to make a difference, Musgrave Centre has co-ordinated with several organisations to make is possible for their shoppers to give of their 67minutes within the centre.

The South African National Blood services will be set up in the Pick n Pay court where shoppers can give blood to save a life.

Abekrestu will raise awareness and funds around their “tree in a can” concept that provides for sustainability while contributing financially to charitable organizations.

The Cancer Association of South Africa will be set up in order to educate our shoppers on the fight against Cancer.

Muscle and Fitness will be set up directly in front of Woolworths as part of their blanket drive, shoppers will be rewarded with a five day free trial for every blanket that is donated.

Tafta and Child Welfare will represent both the young and the old by raising awareness for these worthy causes.

Save the Children will be set up in the Musica court where shoppers can sign up to donate.

Musgrave Centre will have a slice of “Madiba’s Birthday cake” for anyone who donates a non-perishable item to be given to a local children’s home.
