Churches meet

THE Umbilo Christian Women's Unity Group held its final meeting for 2014 at the Umbilo Congregational Church recently.

The women, from six different churches in the area, Assumption Catholic Church, Umbilo Congregational Church, Umbilo Methodist Church, the Lutheran Church, St Cyprian's and Glenwood Presbyterian Church, meet to speak about what each church is doing in the community.

At the meeting on 31 October, each church gave a review of what they planned to do over the next three months, and gave an idea of how they others could help. Afterwards, a lunch was held to celebrate the end of the year.
