ICC once again ‘Best in Africa’

THE Durban ICC has been honoured with another international award for service excellence. The Centre took top honours at the World Travel Awards (WTA) once again, being voted Africa’s Leading Meetings and Conference Centre, at the annual Africa and Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony held at the Kempinski Seychelles Resort on Saturday evening.

The World Travel Awards celebrates its 22nd anniversary this year and is acknowledged across the globe as the ultimate travel accolade. The awards programme aims to celebrate those organisations that are pushing the boundaries of industry excellence.

The ICC was voted top of its league amongst nominees which included the Cape Town International Convention Centre, Sandton Convention Centre, Kenyatta ICC and the Cairo ICC.

Durban ICC CEO, Lindiwe Rakharebe said, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all our clients for their unwavering support and for voting us ‘Africa’s Leading Meetings and Conference Centre’ for the fourteenth time.
