THE Brighton Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences is looking for a man who police believe can assist in a rape incident that occurred at Umbilo.
The man is between 25 and 35 years old, is short in height, slender built and dark in complexion. He was wearing a black jacket with jeans and a white hat when he was last seen.
It is alleged that on 26 July a 15-year-old girl was walking along Cunningham Road in Umbilo when a white VW Polo stopped next to her. The driver of the vehicle pointed a firearm at her and instructed her to get into his vehicle. The suspect drove to a nearby park where he raped her.
