THE little body of a newborn baby was found dumped at a traffic light in Field Street on Saturday evening. According to ER24 spokesperson, Chitra Bodasing, a member of the public found the body of the baby boy and contacted the SAPS.
SAPS alerted paramedics who found the baby had been wrapped in a black plastic garbage bag and dumped at the traffic light. Sadly there was nothing that could be done for the baby.
Details surrounding the incident are unknown. Authorities were on scene to investigate further.
